ASPET Liaison Committee

In 2018 the CSPT became an official chapter of the American Society of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASPET). This formal linkage is mutually beneficial for both societies. For example. the CSPT is eligible to receive funding support from ASPET for our annual meeting, host a chapter web page on the ASPET web site and publish articles and announcements in ASPETs quarterly publication The Pharmacologist. As an ASPET Chapter the CSPT also contributes the main aims of ASPET which are to foster scientific communication, encouraging student interest and participation, and broadening public awareness of pharmacology.

To build and strengthen this formal relationship and to fulfill our annual requirements as an ASPET Chapter, the CSPT Board of Directors is establishing an ASPET Liaison Committee. The initial Committee will be Chaired by the CSPT President and we are seeking a minimum of two additional CSPT members to serve on this committee for a two or three year term.
