Current Advances in Drug Metabolism - Industry Focus

Hear from

Robert S. Jones, Ph.D.,
Principal Scientist, Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics,
Genetech, San Francisco, California
on
"Application of empirical scalars to enable early prediction of human hepatic clearance using in vitro-in vivo extrapolation in drug discovery"

Dr. Robert S. Jones is currently a Principal Scientist in the department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) at Genentech Inc. There he works within the PK/Transport Group to develop translational in vitro models and in silico approaches for improving the translation of preclinical data to human, both from a project, and investigative research perspective. In this webinar, Dr. Jones will discuss a recently published approach utilizing empirical scalars on early drug discovery data to improve current predictions of human clearance
